Naomi has been at BCMG since September 2009, and as one of two part-time Learning Co-ordinators, she is responsible for the in-school projects.
Before joining BCMG, Naomi worked in a variety of peripatetic music teaching roles and as administrator for a youth orchestra. She studied recorder at Birmingham Conservatoire and was awarded a research masters specialising in early music performance practice at the University of Birmingham. When time permits, Naomi plays recorder and flute and teaches privately.
Away from BCMG, Naomi is a keen advocate for the recorder and has served both as Chairman for the National Youth Recorder Orchestras and as an elected member on the committee of the Society of Recorder Players in recent years. She lives with husband Chris and daughters Thea and Poppy, and enjoys time with them and the occasional quiet coffee with a good book.
