Find your way into music through the MUSIC MAZE
Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive organised and run by BCMG. There will be eight workshops from September 09 to July 10. The workshops take place at CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Learning Manager Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Each workshop is linked to performances by BCMG.
Children who attend the workshops are entitled to a free ticket for themselves and a concessionary ticket for a parent/guardian to come to the linked BCMG concert at the CBSO Centre. At the concert Music Maze participants have front row seats, specially designed programmes and a special area for children in the interval with free refreshments. BCMG concerts usually start at 7.30pm and last around 2 hours. We understand that the concerts sometimes finish too late for children and therefore, if you need to leave after the interval, we won't mind!Children do not need to play a musical instrument to take part. Places for workshops are limited and must be booked in advance. Please see the diary for workshop dates this season.
If you would like to be informed of future Music Maze workshops, and are not on our mailing list, please ring 0121 616 2616 or email: info@bcmg.org.uk
