As a preface to BCMG’s concert on 22 November, BBC Radio 3 will record an edition of its acclaimed programme Discovering Music in which Tom Service will explore with pianist Rolf Hind, conductor Martyn Brabbins and composer Julian Anderson with members of BCMG some of the background and musical thinking in Ligeti's Piano Concerto. 

This FREE event will last around 1 hour, with advanced tickets available from the BBC via: www.bbc.co.uk/tickets or on the door.

BCMG’s INSIGHT events are a series of talks, open rehearsals, discussions and workshop sessions aimed at giving you a deeper engagement with the unendingly varied world of contemporary classical music.
