FIND YOUR WAY INTO MUSIC THROUGH THE MUSIC MAZE
Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive organised and run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG). There will be eight workshops from September 09 to July 10. The workshops take place at the CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Learning Manager Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Each workshop is linked to performances by BCMG.
In May’s Music Maze participants will creatively explore ideas connected to the BCMG and Stan's Cafe performance I See With My Eyes Closed. This part-theatrical performance is designed to make us think about the purpose of music and reflect on the whole concert-going experience in a playful, humerous way. The workshop will also explore these ideas.
