Trained at LAMDA then joined the RSC appearing in ROMEO AND JULIET, HAMLET, THE SILENT WOMAN and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE before leaving to play Orpheus in Jean Anouilh’s EURYDICE at Chichester Festival Theatre. In the West End he has appeared in THE CLANDESTINE MARRIAGE with Nigel Hawthorne, GLORIOUS with Maureen Lipman (in which he was the affectionate accompanist of Florence Foster Jenkins, the world’s worst soprano) and BOYBAND at the Gielgud Theatre. TV credits include SPOOKS, ROSEMARY AND THYME, THE BILL, THE MRS BRADLEY MYSTERIES and ALL THE KING’S LADIES. Film includes Tim Burton’s SWEENEY TODD, THE ANARCHISTS’ AGM, THE JUROR and THE MUPPETS…AGAIN.
