Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive organised and run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. There will be eight workshops from September 2013 to June 2014. The workshops take place at the CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Director of Learning & Participation Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Most workshops are linked to performances by BCMG.
In February’s Music Maze the young people will take inspiration for a brand new concerto for Sarod which will feature in our INSIGHT event on Sunday 23 February 2014.
Young people do not need to be able to play a musical instrument in order to take part.
Places are free but must be booked in advance using the Ticket Info tab. Booking is now open.
Participants are entitled to a free ticket for themselves and a concessionary ticket for an accompanying adult to BCMG’s INSIGHT event.
