Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive organised and run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. There will be eight workshops from September 2014 to June 2015. The workshops take place at the CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Director of Learning & Participation Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Most workshops are linked to performances by BCMG.
BCMG’s annual Family Concerts will take place on Sunday 8 March and the programme includes Simon Bainbridge’s Path to Othona. February’s Music Maze will give young people the opportunity to explore their own musical pathways and landscapes by using ideas found in Bainbridge’s piece.
Young people do not need to be able to play a musical instrument in order to take part.
Don’t forget to book your ticket for our fantastic Family Concerts on Sunday 8 March!
Please note this workshop will take place at mac birmingham, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH.
