Zigzag Ensemble is an exciting creative ensemble for participants aged 12-18, who play a musical instrument and read a bit of music notation, led by composer/bassist Ben Markland alongside BCMG musicians. In the workshops participants create pieces from scratch inspired by music featured in upcoming BCMG concerts. Zigzag workshops happen eight times a year on the same day as Music Maze workshops.
BCMG welcomes young instrumentalists from all cultural traditions.
Places are limited and need to be booked at bcmg.org.uk. A suggested donation of £6 will ensure that we can continue our workshop programme.
We are offering young people the opportunity to do Arts Award Bronze through Zigzag Ensemble. BCMG staff are trained to help guide young people towards achieving their Arts Awards. Please note, attendance at BCMG workshops alone is not a guarantee of achieving the award. Click here for more information on Arts Award. For more information on BCMG’s offer, email firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com.
Places are limited and need to be booked. Bookings open 4 weeks before the workshop.
