Composer Frédéric Pattar and acclaimed French ensemble L’instant donné will be visiting Birmingham this February to work with Birmingham Contemporary Music Group’s early career NEXT musicians for some exciting workshops.

These workshops will culminate in a special performance by our talented NEXT musicians and members of L’instant donné of the unnervingly beautiful works of Frédéric Pattar.

Experience experimental new music, live in the heart of Birmingham.

Black Mirrors is brought to you as part of the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group's NEXT study programme, in collaboration with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The NEXT study programme offers a unique 1 year training programme for music students and professional musicians, looking for a career as performers of contemporary music.
