Marx in Progress

Marx In Progress is a piece of acousmatic music in the tradition of hörspiel.

Its text is an extract from the First Book of Karl Marx’s Capital (3rd Part – Chapter 8) in which the German philosopher writes about a work day and the right balance between rest, leisure, and production.

As the title says, Marx in Progress is an evolving piece that will be nurtured by other voices than those in the present version (German, French, English, Spanish). Other translations, other languages for the same text that will complete the piece and contribute to make the author’s words international.
