Jenny is responsible for the projects offered as part of our learning & participation programme.

A brief history

Jenny graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2017, having completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies there as an oboist. She received her MMus degree in Performance & Pedagogy. She is currently completing her Certificate for Music Educators specialising in the Early Years.

She is a freelance oboist, workshop leader (SEN specialist), and Co-Director of Birmingham-based music charity Melody, an inclusive, collaborative organisation dedicated to the promotion of instrumental teaching for people with additional needs. She has also worked as a peripatetic woodwind teacher for Birmingham Music Service.

Fun facts

Most summers you’ll find Jenny playing at various folk festivals with the Earlsdon Morris Men.

Jenny is also a passionate florist.
