Ensure the future of contemporary music performance

Developed in partnerships with Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, NEXT supports early career musicians who want to dedicate their professional career to contemporary music.

Despite generous funding from Art Mentor Lucerne to make this project possible, we still need to raise money to make NEXT a thriving and sustainable study course.

This is a great opportunity to help ensure the future of contemporary music performance in the UK, and to further champion Birmingham as one of the best city's in which to be a contemporary musician.

Support NEXT

Support NEXT and you'll receive updates on the course and invitations to all performances, plus invitations to rehearsals and other donor events. We'll also credit you personally in product literature.

BCMG and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire have developed a new programme of study, NEXT, to support early career musicians who want to dedicate their professional career to contemporary music.
