Corporate Sponsorship

Birmingham Contemporary Music Group is one of the world’s foremost new music ensembles. Over 30 years, BCMG has developed the music of today for the audiences of tomorrow.  Since our foundation in 1987, we have:

  • Reached more than 10 million people through concerts and broadcasts;
  • Given more than 500 concerts in over 190 venues;
  • Performed across the UK and in continental Europe, Mexico, India and the USA;
  • Commissioned and premiered over 175 new works;
  • Helped to launch the careers of many notable composers through our concert programming, Apprentice Composer-in-Residence scheme, and work with Universities;
  • Reached more than 1,000 young people and families each year through our widely admired, and highly successful, Learning and Participation programme.

Exciting New Projects

The 18/19 Season, ‘Music and Society’, aims to position contemporary music in a meaningful context that extends far beyond the walls of the concert hall and our traditional audience. The season is full of exciting concerts and events, both at home and abroad.

Over the next few years, BCMG will be focused on

  1. Creating New Musical Experiences
  2. Fostering International Dialogues & Exchanges
  3. Furthering our Digital Creativity
  4. Supporting the Musicians and Composers of Tomorrow

How You Can Help

There are several ways for companies to get involved and support the important work of BCMG.

Sponsorship

There are a number of special concerts and projects being planned over the next few seasons. We are currently looking for £500 - £2,000 sponsors for:

  • 18/19 Season: Sponsor the season as a whole, an individual concert, or our series of insight events
  • Wilde Lieder Marx.Music: Sponsor concerts in Birmingham or London to bring the world premieres taking place in Germany back to the UK
  • 19/20 International Composing Competition: BCMG is partnering with key organisations in China to host an international competition that supports the exchange of dialogue, culture and music with performances in China and the UK

Benefits will be tailored to the level of gift, the project, and the needs of the company and may include recognition on website, concert programmes, and marketing materials.
