BEAST: Pioneers of Sound

BEAST welcomes two of acousmatic music’s pioneers, François Bayle and Francis Dhomont, as part of a weekend celebrating both the heritage and future of electroacoustic studio-based composition.

The CBSO Centre is transformed into a multichannel sound system venue for a weekend of five sessions featuring new works from international composers, Saturday evening performances of music by Bayle and Dhomont, and a concert featuring new works by Birmingham-based composers.
