Tune in to BCMG's social media pages at 7.30pm on Monday 4 May for a programme which includes BCMG Oboist and composer Melinda Maxwell playing "Sounding Out Varése", her own improvisatory work based on Varése's music, BCMG flautust Anthony Robb performing Varése's Density 21.5 for solo flute, which was to be performed as part of our concerts, and a discussion between Melinda Maxwell and Stephan Meier looking at Varése and his extraordinary music.

This digital event is the first of two online programmes that explore the works of Edgar Varèse, in lieu of our planned concerts at Town Hall, Birmingham, on 4 May and at Southbank Centre, 10 May.
