Birmingham Contemporary Music Group welcomes musicians from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Birmingham’s community to establish cultural exchange and communication between musical traditions of different continents.

Guest performance with Gul Muhammad (Sarangi), Ahsan Bari (Voice) and Neel Kamrul (Bamboo Flute), our guests from Bangladesh and Pakistan, who will perform alongside an ensemble of Birmingham’s own young tabla and sitar musicians.

Let me tell you a story

With a focus on movement, reflection, and, of course, storytelling, this springtime concert will include the performance of two new theatrical pieces of music, specifically written for all ages. Featuring work by Ondrej Adamek and Hilda Paredes.
