Coventry Cathedral is famous for its copious sense of space, a sanctuary of light, colourfully filtered through magnificent stained glass windows.

BCMG's wind trio perform a select programme of music fitting for such a venue, from Coventry's own Brian Ferneyhough, alongside pieces from Hans Abrahamsen, Sir Harrison Birtwistle and BCMG oboist Melinda Maxwell.

Enjoy a programme of contemporary music from BCMG’s wind trio to punctuate the afternoon and provide a selection of music to compliment the surroundings, focussed on Light, Air and Space. Get to know our musicians during your visit to the gardens, as they present solo pieces and introduce their instruments through the afternoon, finishing with a final trio.
