Epigrams

Epigrams, written in 2012 and dedicated to pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard, was the last work that American composer Elliott Carter wrote – when he was 102 years young. Discover more about the work that is a testament to Carter’s extraordinary late style from the trio that performed the work’s premiere in 2013: Pierre-Laurent Aimard (piano), Alexandra Wood (violin) and Ulrich Heinen (cello), joined by BCMG Artistic Director Stephan Meier.
