Tickets

Moseley Misfits, an all ability amateur instrumental group based in Moseley, present their annual summer concert at The Bradshaw Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Together with the Cotteridge Misfits and Moseley & Bearwood Rock Collectives, they will come together to showcase a fun-filled programme. It will feature the premiere of a composition by Kirsty Devaney, as part of Birmingham Contemporary Music Group’s Flourish! project.

Flourish! commissions new music for Birmingham-based youth and non-professional ensembles and gives them the opportunity to work with composers. Through the Spring and Summer of 2023, we have been working with four composers and ensembles. Each composer hascomposed a short, engaging, dynamic piece of music that will celebrate something, somewhere or someone that has strong and positive connections with Birmingham.

The 2023 Flourish! Project is generously funded by Birmingham City Council Creative Cities Legacy Grant.
