Harriet Grainger Creative Learning Producer [email protected] A brief history Harriet studied composition at the Royal College of Music, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She grew up with an artistic background, playing the cello and piano, singing and studying many kinds of dance. During her composition studies at music college, she became passionate about teaching and music education, and loved becoming involved in outreach and community projects and cross-disciplinary collaborations. In addition to working at BCMG, she also works as a freelance composer. Fun Facts Harriet is a bit of a free spirit and spends most of her spare time outdoors. She loves windsurfing, hiking, dance, running, and travelling in general. The wilder and more remote the landscape, the better! Best thing about working at BCMG? 'I hugely enjoy working at BCMG. The team are so lovely, supportive and talented, and to work collaboratively with them on a daily basis is really inspiring. It is really exciting to be able to help creative projects come to life and to help young people to compose their own music.' Manage Cookie Preferences
