BCMG welcomes secondary school pupils on work experience throughout the year, normally for a week-long placement. Currently we offer one work experience placement per term and particularly welcome applications from young people who have taken part in our projects. Outlined below are some of the activities a work experience student might be involved with. This is dependent on the time of year and the activity of the group.

• Observing and taking part (where appropriate) in projects in schools, at CBSO Centre and community setting
• Observing and taking part (where appropriate) in workshops, meetings and rehearsals at CBSO Centre and other venues
• Meeting and working with different members of the BCMG team on finance, fundraising, marketing and production tasks.
• Researching and finding out about the music BCMG performs.
• General office work.
