Birmingham Contemporary Music Group's schools programme focuses mainly on supporting children and young people to compose. As well as running workshops for young people, we also deliver CPD for teachers. Currently, our main schools programme is Listen Imagine Compose Primary. We work hard to ensure our projects are collaborative and a learning opportunity for everyone involved. BCMG are a research partner of Birmingham City University and are committed to using research to inform our work.
We are also a partner of the Birmingham Music Education Partnership, Birmingham's Music Education Hub, and a member of Birmingham Arts School, an initiative of Birmingham Creates, Birmingham's Cultural Education Partnership.
